Why Does It Matter? Really

OK, so i was driving my son to the dentist and in the car listening to Sirius XM radio I think channel 44 they were playing Jay Z's new song featuring Beyonce. Personally I liked it cool grove music with soultry Beyonce voice and jay z slick flow. 

So when the song was over this chick (wish i got her name) I guess she's the DJ for that time frame on this channel had the nerve to say its too R&B I'm like why does it matter Jay Z is still  rapping the same nothing has changed lyrically, just the choice of music. I mean it really bothered me that when an artist tries something new people are so quick to judge, i rather say critique but everyone needs criticism here and there. 

But to say its too R&B, whats wrong with R&B,what rapper out there hasn't rapped to a more r&b melody rather then the 808 of a hip hop song. I couldn't wait to rant about this i just had to state my cause. Its how i feel so stay tuned for the next juicy part of the toady's world.
