A Loft or a Loft style House

So I'm wondering which should i get . First of all let me say I LOOOOOVVVEEE Lofts. I currently live in one now its small so I'm looking for the bigger picture. I think the open space plan its exactly what i need with two kids, wooden floors and windows.

 I love watching the weather change thru huge window panes. so my husband and I are planning on moving in a year and were going to Cali. I'm trying to find out if we should get a loft or buy a loft style home. 

Look to be honest whatever has what I'm looking for and the price is right were getting it. just thought I'd let you guys know my thoughts right now. any input, comments question advice please comment below thank you love you much.
